The Witness and The Vow novels -- the next two books that continues The Shepherd story are nearly complete. Book 2 will be released in 2026 and Book 3 is planned for 2027. The Witness -- Book 2

May 1977, a week before ordination to the priesthood for the Archdiocese of Chicago, transitional Deacon and seminarian Francis (Frank) Douglas Boyle is looking forward to following in the footsteps of his hero priest, Cardinal Timothy Dowd. Witnessing a murder while walking near the Mundelein seminary grounds by a gang hitman working on the orders of a reclusive crime boss. The hitman realizes there is a witness who can place him on death row. The pursuit to kill the new cleric takes Father Frank through a journey he may not wish to go. His seminary classmates, Father’s Thomas Olivero and John Porter join forces with him, law enforcement, religious and government leaders to face the threats to the Church and citizens of Chicago.

The Vow -- Book 3

The final novel in the trilogy completes tracing the lives of three dedicated Catholic clerics, serving as Shepherds in Philadelphia and Chicago. Working with other church and lay leaders, together they face mounting issues that challenge their beliefs. Their personal struggles all weigh heavily as they fight for the future of the church.
